   • Not easy to setup chef server and chef client
   • High availability and use of backup server in case of failure
   • Not easy to manage Ruby DSL
   • Easy Interoperability

4. SaltStack

   • Highly Scalable
   • Easy to learn and manage configuration
   • Has Push Configuration
   • Not easy to setup master and minions
   • It is highly available along with multi master configuration
   • Easy Interoperability
