1. DDOS attack.(Distributed denial of service attack.)

   • A DDOS attack is the action of sending so many useless data packets to a server it purposely overloads itself.
   • Use penetration testing to check for any weaknesses in the server.

2. Spyware.

   • Spyware is when someone watches you without your knowing of on your computer and regularly copy what keys you press to take your account details.
     • Regularly check system with in computer scans.

3. Active attack.

   • Active attack is when a hacker attempts to make changes to data.
     • An active attack can be prevented using a simple firewall.

4. Scareware.

   • A software designed to scare a user into buying usless and or mallicious to the users computer.
     • Be villigant,stop and think,dont click on pop up ads.etc.

5. Trojan horse.

   • Any malware that lies about its tue intent.
     • When opening a document and running the sofware that you suspect will shpw if it is mallicious.

6. When a trusted/authorized user has the acess to certain details they intend to use mallicously.

   • Insider attack.
   • Add user access levels to your business or whatever your work is so not all members can access sensitive information about other employees.

7. Ransomware.

   • Ransomware is when your personal data is encrypted by a different individual and said individual demands payment before giving back the data.
     • Don't pay the ransom and possibly sacrifice that data there is no guarantee they will give it back anyway and you would be funding them
