Cell Cycle
  1. Interphase
    1. G1 Phase
      1. The cell grows
      2. G2 Phase
        1. The cell prepares for mitosis.
        2. S phase
          1. The cell duplicates DNA
        3. Mitosis
          1. Prophase
            1. Chromosomes shorten and become visible. Centrioles move to opposite sides of the cell. Nuclear envelope disapperas and spspindle begins to form.
            2. Metaphase
              1. Chromosomes line up along center of the cell. Spindle attaches at centromere
              2. Anaphase
                1. Spindle separates chromosomes at the centromere
                2. Telophase
                  1. DNA uncoils. Cell begins to split
                  2. Cytokinesis
                    1. Cell pinches and forms two new daughter cells
