Fine motor skills are movements that use smaller muscle areas (e.g. hands)
Self-concept is how others see you or how you see yourself
A baby learns to sleep a full night at the age of 4 months. 8 hours is a full night for a baby.
Sucking Reflex- If a mother places a bottle or nipple by the baby's mouth, the baby will automatically start sucking.
Grasping Reflex- If a mother puts a finger on the baby's hand then the baby will automatically grasp it.
Even though they learn through senses, those senses are physical.
Smiles are also social and emotional as well as physical.
A play group helps infants intellectually by teaching them colours, numbers, letters etc.
