1. Thesis: Technology and scientific accomplishments were very limited during the Victorian Era; however, a couple of the most important at the time were blood- transfusion, and phonograph; because blood-transfusion saved lives and the phonograph dramatically increased communication.

2. Topic Sentence: Communication during the early part of the Victorian Era and previously to it were very slim, however the invention of the phonograph greatly increased it.

3. Topic Sentence: Blood-transfusion during the Victorian era contributed to the extensions of lives, by simply giving people more nutrient through blood which they could not create with their own body.
