cumulative frequency

1. cumulative frequency is adding up the frequency as you go along

2. add a cumulative frequency column to the table and plot it on the y-axis, with the other thing (eg height) on the x-axis

3. to find the median, go halfway up the side, go across to the curve, and go down and read off of the x-axis.

4. to find the lower and upper quartiles, go 1/4 up and then 3/4 up the side, across the curve, then down and read off the bottom scale.

5. to find the interquartile range, you find the distance between the upper and lower quartiles
