Aneurin Bevan (1897-1960)
1. Son of am welsh miner, became an miner at 13.

5. Proved to be an able administrator at the minister of health
Sir Richard Stafford Cripps
1. He was from a wealthy legal family and became a very successful barrister himself.

4. Major figure in Churchill's wartime government.
5. He was teetotaller and vegetarian, which made him suitable for the chancellor in this austerity period form 1947 onwards

1. President of trade union under Churchill and minister of economic warfare under Churchill
2. Majour planner of labour nationalisation program
3. Became chancellor under Attlee, Attlee tolerated him but when he leak the budget plan he was forced to resign (1947)

3. He was pro American during the cold war
