1. Components

   • Computer components are the inside parts of a computer.
     • Hard Drive
       • A disk drive used to read and store data.
         • Hard drive can be used for storing lots of data without lousing any of it, one problem is that you can access the data very easily because you have to dig in to lots of you r computer files to find the data you need.
     • CPU
       • The Central-Processing-Unit is the part of a computer system that is also known as the brain of a computer.
         • The CPU is responsible for executing a sequence of stored instructions called a program.
     • RAM
       • Random Access Memory
         • RAM is a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly.That is, any byte of memory can be accessed without touching the preceding bytes.

2. BIOS

   • Basic-Input-Output-System
     • BIOS is a set of instructions which controls input and output operations
       • BIOS is the program used to get the computer system started after you turn it on.
         • It also manages data flow between the computer's operating system and attached devices such as the hard disk, video adapter, keyboard, mouse and printer.

3. Operating System

   • Windows/Mac/Linux
     • These are the operating systems that allows as to control the peripherals of a computer.
       • OS (Operating System) manages all of the software and hardware on the computer.
         • Most of the time there are many different computer programs running at the same time and they all need to access your computers central processing unit (CPU), memory and storage.
         • GUI (Graphic User Interface) is a system that allows new users to use the program esyer/
