Computational Thinking
Computational thinking are the steps taken to find the best possible solution to a complex problem.
Decomposition is the breaking down of a complex problem into smaller, more manageable problems, and solving each individually.
- For example, when creating a game, each part of it, like logging in and keeping score, can be separated so that you can focus on one aspect at a time.
Abstraction is the picking out of important information from a problem, and ignoring specific details that don’t matter.
- For example, when writing code, programmers may remove unnecessary lines of code to make it easier to read.
