    1. parents: Alois Hitler (father) and Klara Hitler (mother). father died of fluid in the lungs and mother died off cancer (mothers doctor was Jewish this this might be why Hitler didn't like the Jews.

        1. nationality: Austrian until 7 April 1925 then became a German citizen after 1934
        2. political.
          1. joined the national socialist German workers party in 1921.
            1. Became chairman in 1921.
            2. Wanted to take over the German capital Munich.
              1. Hitler and his followers marched from the beer hall in Munich to the Bavarian war ministry to overthrow the Bavarian Government, but police where waiting for them and as soon as Hitler arrived police opened fire and shot 16 members of Hitler's followers were killed and four police officers were killed whilst fighting off Hitler and the Nazi party.
            3. concentration camps.
              1. The Nazis targeted Jews, but also Gypsies, homosexuals, Jehovah's witnesses, and the disabled. They also targeted people who resisted the Nazis.
                1. in 1933-1934, SS chief Himmler was in charge of running the concentration camps which held the Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals and Jehovahs witnesses.
