Binary Numbers 1_3
  1. It is a number expressed in the binary numerical system, which is used in digital electronics.
    1. This system represents numerical values using two symbols: 0 and 1.
    2. Binary numbers can be used also in mathematical operations such as division, subtraction, addiction or mutiplication.
      1. Addition
        1. Adding two binary numbers together is like adding decimal numbers, except 1 + 1 = 10
        2. Multiplication
          1. Multiplication in the binary system works the same way as in the decimal system.
          2. Division
            1. Follow the same rules as in decimal division. For the sake of simplicity, throw away the remainder.
            2. Subtraction
              1. It goes the same way as addition, but obviously in the inverse way subtracting the binary numbers.
            3. They don't translate only numerical values, but also letters and messages in any language.
              1. Example: 01010001 01110101 01101001 01101110 01100100 11000011 10101101 01101111 00100000 01110010 01100101 01100111 01101001 01101111 01101110 00100000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01101001 01101110 00100000 01000011 01101111 01101100 01101111 01101101 01100010 01101001 01100001 = Quindío region is in Colombia.
              2. There exists a procedure to choose what numbers to type or what code so you can translate what you want to tell or write.
                1. The binary number system plays a central role in how information of all kinds is stored on computers.
                  1. Units
                    1. Each of de Binary Digits is called a bit, 8 bits form 1 byte.
                      1. Each of this units are used to measure the storage of information of a computational device .
                        1. Bytes are not used a lot nowadays because they are a very small unit. Most common is to have mega bytes, giga bytes or tara bytes.
                      2. It is hard to find a daily use for it, however it can work as a code for encrypt messages or for programming for a computer programmer.
