  1. PART 1 - EARLY LIFE
    1. Victor describes his blissful childhood in Geneva
      1. Victor enters the university of Ingolstadt to study natural philosophy and chemistry
        1. He is consumed by the desire to discover the secret of life
    2. PART 2 - THE MONSTER
      1. Victor spends months creating a monster out of dug up body parts
        1. One night, he brings his creation to life
          1. As soon as he sees the monster, he is horrified
            1. He runs out and finds his friend Henry who he brings back to his apartment
              1. The monster has disappeared
      2. PART 3 - RUN AWAY
        1. Victor prepares to return to his family in Geneva
          1. Before leaving, he receives a letter from his dad telling him that his youngest brother, William, has been murdered
            1. While passing through the woods where William was strangled, he sees the monster
              1. He becomes convinced that it was the monster who murdered his brother
        2. PART 4 - GUILT
          1. Arriving in Geneva, Victor finds that Justine Moritz, a family friend, has been accused of William's murder
            1. She is tried, found guilty of the crime and then executed
              1. Victor now feels very guilty, as two people have died because of what he has done
                1. Hoping to ease his grief, Victor takes a vacation to the mountains
          2. PART 5 - A COMPANION
            1. One day whilst Victor is crossing a glacier alone, the monster approaches him
              1. The monster admits to William's murder and begs Victor for forgiveness
                1. The monster begs Victor to create a soul mate for him
                  1. Victor refuses at first, horrified by the prospect of creating a second monster
                    1. However, eventually he agrees and heads for England with Henry
            2. PART 6 - HAUNTED
              1. Leving Henry in Scotland, Victor isolates himself on an island to create the second monster
                1. One night, Victor looks out of the window to see the monster looking at him with a terrifying grin
                  1. Horrified, Victor quickly destroys his new creation
                    1. The monster is furious and swears that he will be with Victor on his wedding night
              2. PART 7 - BOAT TRIP
                1. Later on, Victor takes a boat out and dumps the remains of the body in the sea
                  1. The wind prevents him from returning to shore and in the morning he finds himself lost ashore
                    1. Upon landing, he is arrested for murder and is shocked when he finds out it is Henry's murder
                      1. When Victor sees Henry's body, he notices the monster's fingerprints on his neck
                2. PART 8 - THE WEDDING
                  1. Victor returns to Geneva to marry his fiancee, Elizabeth and to be cautious, he sends her away
                    1. Whilst waiting for the monster, he hears Elizabeth scream and realises that the monster has killed her
                      1. Victor returns to his father and shortly after, he dies of grief
                        1. Victor decides to hunt the monster down and follows him northward to the ice
                          1. Victor almost catches the monster but the ice breaks between them and the monster gets away
