Computational Thinking

  1. Logical reasoning is based on inferences

  2. Computational Thinking is the process where the individual through critical thinking solves different problems

  3. Computational thinking is the use of critical thinking to solve different problems

    • Problem is a situation that needs to be dealt with or solve.
  4. Logical reasoning, is based on inferences and the connections between "a permise" (a given sentence) and the conclusion (some other sentence).

    • Logical reasoning determines if the algorithm will work by predicting what will happen when the algorithm steps are followed.
  5. An algorithm is a set of rules that need to be followed in order to complete a task. Normally used in computers

    • Examples: When a camera looks for a human face, when you follow a recipe, when you follow lego instructions, when you make an excel spreadsheet, when you get dressed
  6. Abstraction: the action of reducing characteristics, in order to have only the essentials.

  7. Decomposition: involves making a complex situation into a more manageable and easier to understand, by dividing the problem.

    • Decomposition can be utilized in school by trying not to do all the homework all at once, and setting a time to do one by one.
  8. Pattern recognition can be define as the classification of data based knowledge by using machine learn algorith
