1. E-safety

   • Password - Your password should be at least 8 characters long, alphanumeric (mixture of letters, number and symbols) and most importantly something you can remember
   • Sharing personal information - When online playing with strangers you have to be careful of the information you share, think before you speak
   • Fake news - Do not believe everything see and hear on the internet

2. Cloud computing

   • What is it? - Cloud computing consists of storing data online
   • Advantages - Cheap, compatible and reliable
   • Disadvantages - poor security, can only be accessed with a network connection and there is a very limited amount of storage

3. Hardware

   • Storage - storage is the part of a computer that stores data
   • CPU (central processing unit) - the CPU's job is to process data
   • RAM (random access memory) - RAM is the part of a computer used to store short term memory
   • Hardware keywords
     • Input devices - input devices are pieces of hardware used to provide data to a computer system
     • Output devices - output devices are pieces of hardware used to communicate processed information
     • Peripherals - A peripheral device is a computer device that is not part of the essential computer
