Structure
- Electron: Are negatively charged and their values are about 0.0005amu
- Proton: Are positively charged and their values are about 1amu
- Neutron: Are neutral charged and their values are about 1amu
- Electron cloud: Is the region of negative charge surrounding an atomic nucleus that is associated with an atomic orbital.
Octet rule: states that atoms tend to form compounds in ways that give them eight valence electrons and thus the electron configuration of a noble gas.
Lewis dot structure: are diagrams that represent the valence electrons of atoms within a molecule.
