1. Pre-Meeting

   • create detailed visual agenda
   • think about participants / possible questions
   • estimate start/finish time
   • establish a clear end goal

2. During

   • listen to participants
     • respect opinions
   • be understanding
     • be able to see others' views
     • stay objective and unbiased
   • manage conflicts
     • refocus group if necessary
     • keep a mental queue of who's turn to speak
   • manage time
   • keep end goal in mind
     • refocus discussion

3. Post-Meeting

   • create meeting minutes
   • communicate the outcome of the meeting with all participants
   • reflect on what went well and what didn't
   • feedback
