    1. Tableau x2 - ensemble creates a tableau for each scene, cast considers similarities and differences between the two by comparing/contrasting to gain insights
      1. "On my Command' - director calls a series of commands such as 'sky, floor, centre, walls'. The ensemble continue without the commands - Woyzeck does the opposite to the rest of the ensemble to highlight themes of isolation/confustion
        1. Metaphor - ensemble creates a tableau to reflect a metaphor in each scene
          1. "Walk, Clap/Freeze, Pose" - Director calls the series of commands, adding a theme/issue after the clap; actors create a still image/pose to reflect the theme
          2. Mood/Atmosphere
            1. Respond to Music - director selects 2 pieces of music, actors respond using movement, compare and contrast
              1. Entrances and Exits - experiment with actors entering and exiting at various points; reflect insights regarding stage type/audience impact
                1. Drumming - crowd scenes enter/exit to the beat, variations of pace, rhythm and tempo for the end of one scene and the beginning of another
                  1. Narration - actors improvise a narration to create a link between two scenes and provide insight
                    1. Lighting States - explore the impact of different lighting states at the end of one scene and the beginning of another; e.g. full wash to spotlight and vice versa
                      1. Alexander Technique - Breath - slow intake of breath, exhale the emotion of the lines at the end of one scene and the beginning of the next
                        1. Identify the mood at the end of one scene and the beginning of another
