Probabilities
Definition: Probability is the branch of mathematics concerning numerical descriptions of how likely an event is to occur, or how likely it is that a proposition is true.
Experimental Probability
- Experimental probability is the actual result of an experiment, which may be different from the theoretical probability.
- Example: you conduct an experiment where you flip a coin 100 times. The theoretical probability is 50% heads, 50% tails.

Theorical Probability
- The theoretical probability of an event occurring is an "expected" probability-based upon knowledge of the situation. It is the number of favorable outcomes to the number of possible outcomes.
- Example: There are 6 possible outcomes when rolling a die: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
