   • Can cost alot of money for a single individual

2. Open-source software

   • Free to use
   • Source code is available to the public so code can be changed by the user to suit their need
   • You have to be reliant on other people for help
   • Can be abandoned at anytime during developement
   • Developed by a large and vast community which if bugs are found, it is quickly patched
