Multiple Intelligences - Kindra

1. Spatial

   • Spatial intelligence is the ability to visualize and see images in one's mind (Grison and Gazzinga, 2019, pg. 315).
     • I give myself a 7 in spatial intelligence because I always can picture things in my head and I like to picture things in my head when I learn.

2. Linguistic

   • Linguistic intelligence is the ability to understand language be intelligent with verbal skills and be good with words (Grison and Gazzinga, 2019, pg. 315).
     • I give myself a 2 in linguistic intelligence because I am not good with words, and I am very bad at grammar

3. Bodily-Kinestetic

   • Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence is the ability to have a good control over one's own body and can control it and use it, (high coordination levels) (Grison and Gazzinga, 2019, pg. 315).
     • I give myself a 3 in bodily-kinesthetic intelligence because I can be very clumsy and uncoordinated.

4. Mathematical/Logical

   • Mathematical/logical intelligence is the ability to think logically and use calculations to solve problems (Grison and Gazzinga, 2019, pg. 315). I think of mathematical/logical intelligence as being able to think in black and white.
     • I give myself a 6 in mathematical/logical intelligence because I have always been pretty good at math, but I don't enjoy it a lot.

5. Musical

   • Musical intelligence is the ability to understand, listen to play and write music (Sam, 2022, para. 1). People who are high in musical intelligence are usually good at things such as reading sheet music and hearing differences in pitches and notes in music just by listening to it.
     • I give myself a rating of 2 in this intelligence because I am not musically inclined at all, but I enjoy listening to music.

6. Intrapersonal

   • Intrapersonal intelligence is the ability to understand one's own emotions and and being good at understanding themselves in general (Grison and Gazzinga, 2019, pg. 315).
     • I give myself a 1 in this intelligence because I never understand my own emotions and am often confused by my emotions. Also, I hate being alone.

7. Interpersonal

   • Intrapersonal intelligence is the ability to understand others and have an intelligence when it comes to social situations. people high in this intelligence are good at reading other's emotions (Grison and Gazzinga, 2019, pg. 315).
     • I give myself a 9 in this intelligence because I am very good at reading other people's emotions and I love being in social situations and interacting with others.

8. Naturalsitic

   • Naturalistic intelligence is the ability to recognize and understand patterns in nature (Sternburg, 2012, para. 9).
     • I give myself a 4 in this naturalistic intelligence because I like nature, but I don't understand it that much.
