Dilation
1 dilation means to resize something.
2 When you dilate a figure, you will have two images, the orignal image, called the pre-image and the new resized image
3 Image and shapes are when the only difference is sized
4 If the scale factor is greater than 1 the image is an enlargement ( a stretch)
5 If the scale factor is between 0 and 1 the image is a reduction (a shrink)
5.1 All dilation have a center and a scale
6 Scale factor tells us how much the figure stretches or shrink
7 The orignal figure is labeled ABC
7.1 The dilated figure would be A' B' C'
