1. Top of recipe usually has the name, overn temperature & quantity
2. The middle shows the things you will need
3. The bottom shows the directions or blueprint of the recipe
4. Need to know abbreviations for recipe
More Measuring Tips
1. Give a tap before swipping on cups of dry ingrediants so there aren't air pockets
2. take a spoon and lighten flour & other dry ingredients before filling cup
3. Anything you can level off is used in measuring cups
4. Keep a piece of bread with brown sugar to keep it soft
5. when using a sticky ingredient in liquid cup use pam & it will slide out easily
6. pack brown sugar in a cup with force
Intro to Measuring
1. Liquid in meausing pitchers
2. Measuring spoons: tablespoon, teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon & 1/4 teaspoon
  1. 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon
3. Measuring cups for dry & solid ingredients. Comes in 1 Cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup.
4. 4 tablespoons in 1/4 cup
5. 4 quarts in a gallon, 2 pints in a quart, 2 cups in a pint
6. T or Tbsp = tablespoon
7. t or tsp = teaspoon
8. c = cup
9. qt = quart
10. oz = ounce
11. gL = gallon
