4. Impacts

   • Social
     • This web app allows user to easily find and search through a range of information relating to the characters within the Star Wars franchise and discover new information and expand their Star Wars knowledge. It can allow them to more easily interact with other people in the community that share the same interest in the Star Wars universe and even participate in local Star Wars events with their friends and family. The apps ability to transfer data between the API and the users give everyone access to be able to educate themselves on the Star Wars information.
   • Economic
     • In future iterations of this web app, potential monetisation could be implemented with the potential to offer jobs to people that involve keeping the web app secure and safe as well as keeping the information up to date and adding new characters whenever a new movie or TV show is released. There is also potential for collaborations with other Star Wars sources, products, or services to provide the user with an even better experience. Data transmission from the API to a client across the world allows for people and businesses and increase their productivity and efficiency.
   • Personal
     • This web app allows all users to grow their knowledge and understanding of the characters within the Star Wars franchise and discover information they never knew about their favourite characters. Users are also able to potentially build on their technological and web navigation skills by learning the interface and using its functions. The transmission of data between the API and the user allows them to connect with resources even with geographical boundaries between the users physical location and the location of the API server.
