   • Templates and Layout Guides: Web templates and layout guides are similar to master pages and contain the whole structure of a web design and so it is used to seperate content from presentation.
   • Hotspot: This is an area on an im age map that contains a hyperlink. When the hotspo image is clicked on , the hyperlink will open up another program in the current window/ new window,the internal hyperlink takes you to an external website which can be opened in the current or new window.
   • RSS feed : Real Simple Sydication is a document that contains a summary or an extract from the full text of a website and is used by people to view changes to websites without loading them.
   • Hyperlinks: They are used to navigate around one particularly web page , rather than scrolling up and down to find out about various topics.
   • Navigation Bar: A part of a web page that contains all the hypetext links to navigate around the website. In amny cases the navigation bar will be displayed on many pages of the website.
   • Marquee/Selection Tools: Allows the user select areas of an image ,such as rectangles or vertical columns< which can be saved and used in websites. Normally this method is used to crop an image for use on a website.
   • Animation: Stimulates video by using static pictures and creating movement between them.
   • Flash Tools: Flash Video files are used the web as they are compressed and take up less bandwidth than conventional video files;users of flash videos include Youtube and Google Video, which are played using Flash Video Player .
   • Counters: Theses are html codes added to websites to detect details of web traffic. In some cases counters are displayed on the web page or the statistics are supplied to the webmaster for marketing usage.
   • Conversion to HTML: Hypertext Mark-up Language is the main language used to write the code for web pages . It offers a technique to create structured documents by organising text into headings, paragraphs,hypertext links,lists and tables and allows other objects and images to be placed on the web pages.
