                1. Muhammed made statements to show that he agreed with the death penalty
                  1. When he was ruler of Medina, Muhammed sentenced people to death

                    1. "Those who live by the sword shall die by the sword"
                      1. "Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed"
                        1. Humans are made in the image of God and this gives them the right to take life away
                          1. By choosing to commit a serious crime, the person has chosen capital punishment
                            1. Jesus came to fulfill the law, not change it, and the law at that time involved capital punishment
                              1. Governments decide what is best for the safety of the people, this could be capital punishment

                                                            1. It may lead to hangovers which might interfere with a persons relationship with God
                                                              1. Drinking alcohol can impair a persons judgement and reduce their ability to act in a Christian way
