1. UNIT 1 .- CONCEPTS: Innovation, Creativity, technology, paradigm, citation, Digital Citizenship, Pros and Cons in the use of technology. PRODUCT: Podcast with information about uses of technology in a positive or a negative way according to the students. Script should be presented as well as the APA citation process to validate the podcast. TOOLS: internet, GarageBand, word processors, iPads.

2. UNIT 2.- CONCEPTS: Digital Citizenship review, Digital Access, Digital Literacy, Apps, webapps and programs. PRODUCT: design of an app, using creation tools for design like Paper®, Notability® and some others, the app should be sketched and later on, using Como ® and Appypie® we'll try to build it. Basic functions are explained and shuld be presented in the design. TOOLS: iPads, internet, photo logs and photo buckets, real images, creation software and app building software.

3. UNIT 3.- CONCEPTS: Digital Communication, digital etiquette and digital commerce. Social networking, messaging systems, mailing, blogging, microblogging and other ways to communicate through the web. PayPal and other examples of eCommerce. PRODUCT 1: Website with references of the different methods of Digital communication. PRODUCT 2: Redesign of the app to optimize the contents. TOOLS: iPads and Computers to develop the website. Internet and creation tools. Website builders Weebly® and Wix®.

4. UNIT 4.- CONCEPTS: Digital health and wellness, digital security. Malware, overuse, abuse and misuse of the internet. Data safety and privacy. PRODUCT 1: Digital wellness campaign and surveys. PRODUCT 2: App redesign to include disclaimers, warnings and security systems and protocols. TOOLS: iPads, internet, computers, Google Forms® or Survey Monkey®, creation software.

5. UNIT 5.- CONCEPTS: Digital rights and responsibilities, Digital law. Disclaimers, agreements, terms and conditions. Copyrights, patents and public domain policies. PRODUCT: Study and develop a project with creative commons http://creativecommons.org/ , join a program and license your work. TOOLS: Computers, iPads, internet, Creative Commons site. PRODUCT 2 FINAL: Register and license your app.

   • FINAL PRODUCT: An app containing all the important elements to promote and fulfill Digital Citizenship. Apps should be copyrighted and designed by students. They must include original images, thoughts and ideas as well as an original layout and a revised style.
