1 Never put too much detail.
1.1 Only ever say what you understand.
2 Always keep an eye on timing.
2.1 Leave the detailed parts for the other questions.
3 Where has the person been?
3.1 For example, Elizsabeth Hyde- Rafting On The Grand Canyon implies she is in Arizona.
4 What have they been doing?
4.1 E.G- Rafting On The Grand Canyon. In the article it also explains she is with a group in a boat, 'flowing' up along a river.
5 4-5 well explained points needed.
5.1 Always use: Point, Evidence, Explain. (OR 'PEE.')
6 Be clear and precise in opening sentences.
6.1 Who is the text/article aimed at? Who is your audience?
7 Do not analyse the language.
7.1 ONLY INFER. (i.e. read between the lines, including quotations).
8 Show you have fully understood the text.
8.1 Include quotes to prove you understand.
