1 Current, resistance potential difference
1.1 Current - flow of electric charge around the circuit, units: amps
1.1.1 Ammeter - in series
1.2 Potential difference - driving force that pushes the current round, units: volts
1.2.1 Voltmeter - in parallel
1.3 Resistance: anything which slows the flow down, units: ohms
1.3.1 Increases with temp. - ions in conductor move more, can't flow easily
1.4 The greater the resistance, the smaller the current
1.5 Current = Charge (C) / Time (s)
1.5.1 Charge is measured in coulombs
1.6 Potential difference = Work done (J) / Charge (C)
