   • Coursework provides communication skills and minimal digital skills. Very little or no IT Skills such as coding.

   • Jobs for communicators without some computer skills are dwindling with more and more employers looking for individuals with both communication and IT skills.

Offer more IT coursework for Mass Comm students and more Communications coursework for IT Majors? What are employers looking for and how do we make sure graduates have the skills employers are seeking?
