9d De Guia Sequence In Separating Mixtures

- Step 1: Use a magnet to get the nickel. (At the end of the step only water, alcohol, AgCl, pebbles and styrofoam beads are left)
- Step 2: Use simple distillation to separate the water and alcohol NOTE: Heat to 78°C because alcohol's boiling point is 78°C (After step only water, AgCl, pebbles and styrofoam beads)
- Step 3: Use the separating funnel to remove the AgCl from the water. (water, pebbles and styrofoam beads are left)
- Step 4: Use floatation to take the styrofoam beads away (after only water and pebbles left)
- Step 5: use evaporation to separate the pebbles from water
