    • He has a different name, Abram, and so does his wife, Sarai
      • God promises Abraham 3 things:
        • 1. He will be a great nation: though his descendants his name will become a great nation
          • 2. to be a blessing: he will have as many descendants as sand on the beach and stars in the sky

    • He see's one righteous man, Noah

    • It's interesting that god takes the shape of smoke on a mountain. Smoke is shapeless (like God?) and a mountain is the highest point in the region. Does this represent God how he's this like shapeless but high power?

    • God did not want a king, but the Israelites wanted a king for themselves
      • God did not want a king, so like by the human kings wearing crowns does it somehow relate to how Jesus is wearing a crown of thorns on his head? Like this related to it since the line of David runs though Jesus

      • Saul is a good king for a long time, but when he finds out David is going to be the next king he goes crazy
