8. Usually you can switch between the If/ When and the result won't change
First Conditional
1. Relates to the present, probable, makes sense to happen
2. If + Present Simple, Future Simple
3. Future Simple, If + Present Simple
4. To describe future events when there is a chance of them happening
5. If it rains, we'll stay at home
6. You can switch Will with Going to
7. You can switch If Not with Unless
8. After If/ Unless you don't use future tense
Second Conditional
1. Impossible, Has slim chances of happening
2. To describe impossible situations
3. To give someone advice
4. If I were rich, I would buy that factory
5. If I were you, I would adopt a dog
6. To express wishes and future aspirations
7. If I won the lottery, I would buy a car
8. When you use 'to be' all bodies get Were
9. If I were Liz, I would forgive him
10. If + Past Simple, Would + V1

Third Conditional
1. Impossible, refers to the past
2. If + Past Perfect Simple, Wold have + V3
3. Would have + V3, If + Past Perfect Simple
4. To describe a condition in the past that hasn't been done

6. To express regrets on things we've done in the past
7. When you want to express feelings you can use Should've / Could've
