AGENTS

1. Simple Reflex Agents

   • This agent selects actions based on its current perception of the world
   • For example say there was an agent on mars and it picked up a rock
     • if it found the same rock two hours later it would still pick it up
       • does not take in account it has already picked it up
   • Like a human reflex

2. Model Based Reflex Agents

   • Like a simple reflex agent however it now has an internal state which keeps track of what it has seen before
   • This time the mars rover would not pick up the second rock and save space for other ones

3. Goal Based Agents

   • These agents consider many actions and decide which would come closest to matching its goals
   • For example a shopping list. Shopping list shows what you should get.
     • If you have to decide between orange juice and milk and milk is on the list
       • The agent will chose the milk

4. Utility based Agent

   • This agent chooses the most effiecient action
     • This maps the state after an actions and gives it a real number on how efficient it was
   • Example
     • The mars rover may have multiple ways of getting somewhere
       • This agent will tell it to do it the most effiecient way
