Legal Responsibilities

1. Design Safety

   • No sharp objects sticking out
   • Sand down edges to make round
     • Sand down job to eliminate splinters
   • Make sure design can be held up on a wall
   • Make sure hooks are well rounded to reduce injury
   • Coat job with a sealer to reduce decay
   • use appropriate joining techniques to ensure strength of final design

2. Workshop Safety

   • Follow safety instructions of supervisor
   • use appropriate P.P.E
   • use tools and machinery responsibly
   • Wear Safety glasses at all times
   • Clean your work bench
   • No food or drink in workshop
   • No running in workshop
   • No stupid behaviour
   • If you are not aware how to use a tool or machine, ask
   • Don't throw things around workshop
