What Angular 2.0 ?
When AngularJS was first created, almost five years ago, it was not originally intended for developers. It was a tool targeted more at designers who needed to quickly build persistent HTML forms.Over time it has changed to accommodate a variety of scenarios and developers have picked it up and used it to build more and more complex applications. Following are pointers why to Angular 2 came into existence
1) Angular 2 is written entirely in Typescript and meets the ECMAScript 6 specification.
2) Angular 2 is entirely component based. Controllers and $scope are no longer used. They have been replaced by components and directives.
3)The specification for directives is considerably simplified, with the @Directive annotation, a directive can be declared.
