homeostasis the body's mechanism of keeping the body's internal conditions at a set level in response to internal and external changes.

3 conditions hat need to be controlled in the human body

. body temperature

.water levels

sugar levels(not enough food not enough to respire if too high u get diabetes)

we have loads of automatic control systems that requlate your internal environment they are nervous and hormonal communications

there are three main components which work together to maintain a steady condition

receptors,coordination centers and effectors

your automatic control systems keep your internal environment stable using a mechanism called negative feedback.when levels of something like water is to high or too low your negative feedback brings it too normal.

.receptor detects a stimulus level is too high or if it is too low

.the coordination centre receives and processes the information then organises a response

effector produces a response which counteracts the change and restores the optimum level thelevel decreases if level is to high or if too low the level increases

the nervous system

the nervous system means that humans can react to their surrounding and coordinate their behaviour

the main component parts are brain, spinal cord and nerves

it allows organisms to react to their surrounding and co-ordinate their behaviour

the nervous system is made of different parts there are four

cenral nervous system this consists of the brain and spinal cord if an animal has a backbone but in mammals the cns is connected to the body by sensory neurons and motor neurons

sensory neurons are neurones hat carry electrical impulses om receptors to the cns

motor neurons are neurons that carry electrical impulses from the cns to effectors
