RAM

the CPU is a bit like the brain of the computer because it does the fetching of the information, decodes the information and then executes the program.

the way to increase a CPU is by increasing the clockspeed or the amount of hertz.

the CPU is located on the motherboard, this is so it can easily acsess all the components needed for it to work

the Read Only Memory (ROM) contains the basic start up instructions for the computer. it is not volatile.

the ROM is built in to the motherboard so it can easily be accessed.

the Random Access Memory is volatile because you can change the stuff that is stored on it. it is used for storage.

the RAM is located on the motherboard and can easily be replaced.
