Parrallel and Serial transmission
Parrallel Transmission- a number of bits per data are transmitted simultanously over an equal number of channels/ wires. this allows the bits in a whole byte of information to be transfered together.
Serial transmission.
Bits are transfered one at a time over a single wire/ channel. This reduces the cost of the cables but gives a slower rate of english transfer.
