Memory
Difference between RAM and ROM:
RAM is the main memory in the computer
It is required for the operating system, applications that are loaded and any data currently in use.
The more RAM available to the computer, the more programs and data it can load at the same time meaning better performance.
When a program is loaded, it is copied from the hard disk or other device (secondary storage) into the main memory (RAM).
The CPU can now access that data and instructions for the program as required.
