Lists and tables in HTML

Lists and tables in HTML help in displaying data in a user friendly and a co-relative way. They make the web page look more organized and enhance the readability of the web page.

A collection of related elements is called a list.

They help us to organize data in documents so that users can understand the key points easily.

They help to put data in a specific order.

There are two types of lists in HTML-: Ordered List and Unordered List.

Unordered List- Bulleted list of Items.

It is created using the <ul> tag.

Every item of a list is called a list item and marked with the help of <li> tag.

Ordered List-: Numbered list of Items.

By default Unordered List is marked with the help of bullets/disc and Ordered Lists are marked with the help of numbers.
