Stanza 1 - Poem is spoken by a young country girl who has married a farmer Wedding day is windy. "the wind blew all my wedding day" Wind rages as she spends first night with new husband Wint effects the immediate environment Husband leaves to close the barn door. The girl is left alone - Moment of dishorientation, fails to recognise her own reflection. But her moment of confusin is understood , first night alone. She is not distressed or upset.  Impression that her wedding day is most important/happiest day of her life Feels sorry for distressed horses - cannot share the happiness that she has. "I was sad that any man or beast that night should lak the happiness I had" Cant bear to live without love, sympathetic for all creatures who lack the happiness she has Stanza 2 - Next morning. Sunny, worst of the storm has passed. Cause damage to farm, must still attend chores Wind symbloises elemental force, greater than any individual Thrashing - violent nature that effects young bride - fearsome strength of human passion Wind - joyful emotions marraige has awakened in her. Carrying beads - suggest fragilinity , gift of love  Excitement- she wonders if she will be able to sleep at night . Joy of marraige - ever lasting morning.
