cost = be default bandwidth and delay are used.

k values - k1,k2,k3,k4,k5. k1&k3 = 1 by default.

Bandwidth is some of bandwidth of all downstream links

delay is the lowest delay among the downstream links

2) K-Values

3) AS value

EIGRP ROUTEs

1) EIGRP internal routes: AD 90. learned via network command

2) EIGRP external routes: AD 170,learned via redistribute command.

DUAL

Successor: best path to the prefix

Feasible successor: 2nd best

Feasible distance: Routers distance to the prefix

Advertised distance: my NGBr distance to the prefix as advertised to me.

Feasibility condoition: AD < FD

Variance

Allows unequal cost load balancing.

process:

i) take FD of every entry in topology table. multiply by Variance(X).

ii) look at other feasible successor in topology table. if is now less than X * FD. put it in routing table.

iii) Feasibility condition should always match.
