Perspective: A perspective or point of view, is the way in which a person looks at the world. Shaped by our culture, our parents and family, our friends, our schools, our religion, our role models, our hopes, and our fears.

Interpretations: Historians study the past through primary documents and then decide on a description of what happened. This is called an interpretation. All secondary documents are interpretations perspective shapes interpretation. So, we can get many different interpretations of one event in the past.
