The net movement of molecules from a area of high concentration of molecules to a area with a lower concentration of molecules.

Osmosis

Osmosis is the net movement of water from an area of high concentration of water to an area with a lower concentration of water through a partially permeable membrane that allows water to pass through it.TIP: A dilute solution of sugar means that it contains little sugar but a high concentration of water and a concentrated sugar solution means a there is a high amount of sugar and a low concentration of water
