When handling data you need to make sure that the data is secure and being protected. You may also sometimes need to do checks to make sure that: The data is accurate and relevent to it's intended use. The data shouldn't be given out to anyone without the permission of the person in which the data is about.

Websites Data is normally stored in a database when it is used with websites Users will register their personal details over the internet through a web server, and then the information will be placed into a database, and the database would be securesd to make it harder for people to hack. In return the user will recieve additional services on the website since they had registered.
