Vaccination is used to make people immune to a variety of bacteria and viruses. A small amount of dead or weak forms of the harmful microbe is injected into you. This enables your white blood cells to make the correct antibody without you falling ill.
Vaccinations work on both viruses and bacteria.
MMR- a vaccination administered to small children against mumps, measles and rubella.
