    • Store carbohydrates as sucrose or starch
  2. Animals

    • animals are multicellular
    • animal cells do not have chloroplast so cannot photosynthesis so respire for energy
    • animal cells do not have cell walls, this means that their shapes differ greatly and are squishy
    • Most animals have a nervous coordination, this means that they can change rapidly to changes in the environment
    • Animals move around from place to place
    • they store carbohydrates as glycogen
  3. Fungi

    • some are unicellular/single celled
    • others have a body made of mycelium, which is made up of hyphae, this has lots of nuclei
    • Do not photosynthesise
    • Cell wall made up of chitin
