1. A computer is a device that takes in an input and gives an output.

   • A computer is meant to solve problems
   • you give the computer orders
   • sequence order
   • small steps

2. It does stuff in chronological order

3. we break the program into small steps for the computer to follow.

   • when we break up the steps it is called decomposition
     • when a program is broken up into small simple steps or tasks to allpow the computer to solve the problem it is called decomposition.
   • When you break up a problem in small steps in chronological order it is called an algorithm.
     • When a task is followed in order it is called a sequence. It starts on the first one then goes onto the next one then the next one then so on. When the computer follows the instructions in order. Related things in order.

4. Indentation

   • when the code isn't directly on the next line, there's a space before the code begins on that line.

5. python recognises errors (syntax errors)

   • The errors are called bugs
     • Debugging is fixing the error within the code
