She discovered the use of the different lighting in dance
She relied more on her skirt, light and color because she was not much of a technical dancer
She experimented with chemicals and fabric in her laboratory and part of her hair was blown off in an explosion once; people called her a witch

She helped give Isadora Duncan her start in Europe
