1. Macbeth

   • "Noble Macbeth"
     • This shows us that Macbeth is brave in battle.
     • Duncan calls him "Noble Macbeth" because he is so tough.
   • " Is this a dagger which I see before me"
     • Macbeth is starting to hallucinate.
       • Macbeth says this after he has killed King Duncan.
   • In the era Macbeth was written by William Shakespeare and in those times women were meant to be lead by their husband.
     • In Macbeth, after "the deed is done" by Macbeth his wife takes control over the relationship.
       • After the deed is done Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth to "Leave all the rest to me"
         • This shows us that Macbeth has lost all his power.
       • "The deed is done" the "deed" is the murder of King Duncan.
   • Macbeth has a conscience.
     • He cannot say "Amen" after the murder.
   • Lady Macbeth cannot kill King Duncan as she says "Had he not resembled my father as he slept, I had done it"
